Travel insurance for France
Learn how travel insurance for France could help protect your holiday if something unexpected happens.
15% off travel insurance for nib Health members*
France is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. From sipping espresso in Parisian cafés to skiing the Alps or soaking up the Riviera sun, France has a lot to offer. Before you go, learn how travel insurance for France could help protect your holiday if something unexpected happens.
Why consider travel insurance for France
Whether you’re exploring Paris, Bordeaux or the Pyrenees, nib’s travel insurance could help cover you for expensive surprises.
Medical treatment: France’s healthcare is excellent, but it’s not free for tourists. A simple hospital stay can cost thousands of Euros, and you’ll likely be required to pay upfront. Our policies offer medical cover in France if you fall ill, have an accident, or need emergency evacuation.
Lost or stolen belongings: Pickpocketing can happen in busy tourist areas like the Eiffel Tower, the Metro and around museums. If your passport or phone is stolen, our luggage insurance for France may help replace essentials or reimburse costs.
Adventure activities: Many Aussies visit France for skiing in the Alps, hiking in Provence, or cycling through vineyards. Our policies offer coverage for a wide range of sports and outdoor adventures.
Trip interruptions: Strikes, cancellations, and travel delays are not uncommon in France and throughout Europe. Trip cancellation insurance may help if your plans are disrupted by events outside your control.
