This flavour-packed brekkie is perfect for busy bees

I know a lot of you struggle with time in the morning, so this brekkie is perfect for the busy bees. It’s a really simple breakfast packed with flavour that will keep you feeling full and satisfied throughout the morning.

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • ⅓ cup oats

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 2 cups milk, juice or water

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ sliced banana

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 tbsp crushed peanuts

  • a drizzle of maple syrup

Method:

    Combine oats and chia seeds

  2. 2

    Pour over liquid (milk, juice or water) and leave to soak overnight

  3. 3

    Place in a pot on the stovetop over medium heat and bring to the boil

  4. 4

    Reduce heat and simmer until fully cooked (10 to 12 minutes)

    Once cooked, stir in cinnamon

  6. 6

    Pour oats into a bowl

  7. 7

    Top with sliced banana, peanut butter, crushed peanuts and a drizzle of maple syrup
