At nib, we want you to be at your healthiest. If you need a helping hand to manage a specific health concern, you might qualify for one of our Health Management programs - at no additional cost for eligible members3. Here are a few examples of the programs on offer:
Healthy Weight For Life: This specialised knee and hip arthritis management program has been designed to help you better manage joint pain and get back to doing what you do best. The program includes personalised service, a portion-controlled eating plan, an activity plan and online support.
Cardihab: Designed by the Australian Heart Foundation and Australian Cardiac Rehabilitation Association, Cardihab is a cardiac rehabilitation program that you can use anywhere at any time. The program includes personalised mentoring from a registered nurse who supports your recovery, provides a care plan and answers some of your biggest questions post-treatment.
Hospital Support Program: Going to hospital can be stressful. This phone-based program gives members access to an experienced nurse to help navigate the health system and understand your options before, during and after a hospital stay.

If your specialist chooses to participate in MediGap for your procedure, they commit to either charging you a No Gap fee or charging a Known Gap of up to $500. Your specialist can choose to participate on a case-by-case basis so make sure you ask them before your procedure.
