What's the process?
1. Search for a First Choice network physio
Use our Find a Provider, opens in a new tab tool to search for a trusted First Choice network physiotherapist near you.
Before you book
Log in to your member account, opens in a new tab and check your Extras cover limits before booking your No Gap initial consultation^.

2. Attend your physio appointment
If it’s your first consultation for a condition, such as shoulder pain or a sports injury, you’ll benefit from a No Gap initial consultation^.
If it’s for an existing condition you’ve already seen your First Choice network physio for, you’ll still benefit from our agreed rates* and get between 55% to 75% back, depending on your level of Extras cover.

3. Make a claim on the spot
After your appointment, simply tap your nib card or digital card, opens in a new tab. The amount we pay will be deducted from the total cost and you'll just have to pay the gap (if there is one).

4. Need a follow-up visit?
We want you to get back to your healthiest self. If you continue seeing your First Choice network physiotherapist for the same condition, you’ll get agreed rates* for follow-up appointments.
