When you login to your member account, you’ll be able to see what your cover includes on the “Overview” page and review your remaining benefits under the “My Usage” section. If you want to check if you’re covered for a specific procedure, you can use the Going to Hospital search tool in your member account to complete a procedure check. If you need to go to hospital the first thing you should do is login to your member account to do a cover check and see cost information for your procedure. You can check if:

• Your potential treatment or procedure is included in your cover

• You have served your waiting periods

• You will need to pay a hospital excess

• Your payments are up to date and match your Medicare details

You can also call us to check if you would like to speak to one of our friendly consultants – just have your nib and Medicare card details handy. We have a handy resource of going to hospital information on our website so you can feel prepared for your hospital trip.

Updating your details is easy! Under the “My Policy” tab of your member account, select “Personal details”. You can update your payment details and contact details such as phone number, email address and home address, as well as the way you’d prefer we contact you.

Yes, you can! Log in to compare your cover options, change your cover and change your excess online, or chat to our friendly consultants.

To claim for gym memberships, you will need to do the following:

• Download the Health Management Form.

• Get your medical provider (e.g. doctor or physio) to sign the form.

• Scan it or take a photo of it and submit it with the receipt from your nib recognised fitness centre in your member account or on the nib App.

• Let us take care of the rest.
