What if I can't see my claim?

Don’t worry if you can’t see your claim on the homepage of your nib App. As long as you have your confirmation email your claim is being processed.

How to check the status of your claim

  1. Log in to the nib App

  2. Your most recent claims will appear on the homepage. Claims stay on the homepage for up to three months after they’re submitted

  3. Alternatively, tap ‘Claims’ in the menu at the bottom of your screen to view your full claims history

  4. You’ll find the status at the top of each claim. ‘Awaiting Processing’ means your claim is currently being processed

  5. Once the claim has been successfully processed, the status will change to either: 

    • Paid to you: The claim has been approved and the payment has been deposited into your nominated bank account

    • Paid to provider: The claim has been approved, and the payment has been sent directly to your health provider (like your dentist or physio)

    • Rejected: Your claim wasn’t approved. You’ll see the reason listed, along with what you can do next.
