What is nib's Accidental Injury Benefit?
If you have an accident, we make sure you're able to access the right hospital treatment to get you back on your feet as soon as possible. With nib’s Accidental Injury Benefit, you'll receive benefits in line with our Gold Hospital cover for 90 days after the accident, if you present for treatment with a medical practitioner or attend an emergency department within 72 hours of an accident and are admitted to hospital. This includes admission to a private hospital, or as a private patient in a public hospital.
Overseas nib members are covered for accidents by their OSHC or OVHC.
