I know a lot of you struggle with time in the morning, so this brekkie is perfect for the busy bees. It’s a really simple breakfast packed with flavour that will keep you feeling full and satisfied throughout the morning.
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
⅓ cup oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 cups milk, juice or water
1 tsp cinnamon
½ sliced banana
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp crushed peanuts
a drizzle of maple syrup
Method:
1 Combine oats and chia seeds
2 Pour over liquid (milk, juice or water) and leave to soak overnight
3 Place in a pot on the stovetop over medium heat and bring to the boil
4 Reduce heat and simmer until fully cooked (10 to 12 minutes)
5 Once cooked, stir in cinnamon
6 Pour oats into a bowl
7 Top with sliced banana, peanut butter, crushed peanuts and a drizzle of maple syrup
