An important change to your Priceline health cover
nib and Priceline have made the decision to end their health insurance partnership. As a result, Priceline Health Insurance products will close from 21 July 2026.
To help make the transition as smooth as possible, nib has arranged for you to be moved to an equivalent nib cover so your health cover can continue without interruption, once your details are confirmed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Priceline-branded health insurance has come to an end because the partnership between Priceline and nib has ended.
This means Priceline products are no longer available. To help you stay covered, we’ve moved you to a nib health insurance product.
Priceline Health Insurance was issued by nib, and with the decision to end the partnership, all Priceline products have closed.
As a result, nib has taken full ownership of your cover and moved you to a health insurance option under the nib brand.
If we haven’t heard from you before 21 July, your cover has been automatically moved to the closest equivalent nib product we’ve recommended. You will have received a termination letter from Priceline and a Welcome Pack from nib with details of your new policy.
However, your cover won’t become active until we hear from you, as we will need some essential information such as your direct debit details and Australian Government Rebate (AGR) eligibility. If we don’t receive these within 60 days, we will cancel your nib cover.
Yes, you can still make claims after your cover transfers to nib, as long as the service was provided within the last two years. As the previous issuer of Priceline Health Insurance, nib will process your claim, meaning any communication to you about your claim will come from us.
To make a claim on your past Priceline cover, you’ll need to follow these steps:
Complete a claims form: Contact us during business hours to request a claims form.
Submit your claim: Use nibby chat during business hours to upload your completed claims form and itemised receipt.
To process your claim, we’ll also need to verify your details, so please have your Priceline member policy number, name, date of birth and address ready.
To make a claim under your nib cover, please follow our guide here.

As Priceline Health Insurance products closed, it wasn’t possible to keep your cover exactly the same. While we moved you to a similar nib cover, some differences in benefits, limits and pricing were unavoidable. As a result, your premium may have changed.
No, any waiting periods you’ve already served will be honoured for equivalent benefits when you move to a nib product, as long as you transfer within 59 days of your Priceline cover ending.
If you choose a higher level of cover or add new benefits, waiting periods may apply only to those additional benefits.
If you do decide to cancel your cover, we can talk you through how the process works, when your cover would end and anything you may want to consider before making your decision.
Because Priceline and nib are separate brands, policies and systems can’t transfer exactly as they are. As Priceline health insurance products are closing, your existing policy can’t continue in its current form, so you’ll be moved to a new nib policy. To make sure your cover continues correctly, we’ll need to confirm your payment and Australian Government Rebate details during your cover review.
