nib Group concludes sale of nib Travel

nib Group (ASX: NHF) today confirmed completion of both previously announced sale transactions of nib Travel, representing the final major milestone in the sale of its travel insurance businesses.
nib Group completed the sale of its Australian and New Zealand travel insurance businesses to Allianz Partners, effective 17 September 2026, and also completed the sale of its World Nomads international travel insurance business to International Medical Group (IMG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SiriusPoint, effective 30 September 2026.
Cash consideration received on completion was $97.6 million, as outlined in our FY2026 Full Year Results Presentation, with up to $10 million eligible deferred consideration in FY28.
nib Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ed Close, said the transactions support nib’s strategy to simplify its portfolio and focus on its core health insurance and health-related businesses.
