Paying your premium by direct debit

We’re here to make paying for your premiums as easy as possible.

Get 4% off your premiums when you pay by direct debit

Set up a direct debit from your bank, building society or credit union cheque or savings account for a discount of up to 4% (not applicable to Ambulance or Overseas covers).

How to set up or update your direct debit

  1. Open the nib App and go to your ‘Account’ by selecting the top right icon

  2. Tap 'Payments'

  3. Under the 'How I pay nib' section, select 'Add payment details.' If you already have direct debit set up, choose ‘Update details’ to change your current information.

  4. From there you can add your direct debit bank details

  5. Once updated, select ‘Submit’ to finish.
