Over 70 years, we’ve grown from a mutual among the steelworkers of Newcastle, to over 1.4 million members across Australia and beyond. Throughout that time, we’ve put the health and financial wellbeing of you, our members, first by providing quality health insurance that’s simple and value for money.

Our commitment to your wellbeing is our key promise, but we know we can do more. We want to provide you with relevant information, added value and greater support so that you can better prevent or manage health issues.

We’re investing significantly to evolve our member service experience, to introduce a range of digital-first health solutions and expand our products beyond health insurance to meet a wider range of health needs and budgets, for all Australians, international visitors and travellers.

Our dedication to your positive health outcomes can be seen in the Health Management Programs, opens in a new tab we’re providing to our members. More recent examples include the launch of nib Nurture, opens in a new tab to support expecting mums and dads, and we’re helping members with physiotherapy.

As we improve our member experience, we’re refreshing the way nib looks and feels. We want to connect with more people across a variety of health and wellbeing needs.

Most noticeably, we’re refreshing the nib logo and our brand colours across all of our member tools and services, correspondence, and advertising.

We wanted to let you know about these changes and advise that you’ll see a mix of old and new nib branding in different places as we make this update.

While we’re excited to share this new look and feel for the nib brand, we’re more passionate about how we better support your health. We’ll be sharing more information with all our members as we release new products, services and experiences. Here’s to a healthier future.
