What treatments are included?

DentalPass offers agreed rates on general dental which may include X-rays, examinations, cleaning and polishing, fluoride treatment, tooth extractions, fillings, and more. It also includes agreed rates on major dental, which may include crowns, root canal, veneers, bridgework, implants and dentures, and more.

Orthodontia is not included in DentalPass.

How it works

1. Join online

Join online and download the nib App to get your digital membership card. You'll also receive a physical card within two weeks.

2. Find and visit the dentist

Find and visit a participating dentist in our network near you.

3. Tap your card and save

Tap your nib card before paying at the dentist to access agreed rates. Get $25 back on eligible check-ups² up to twice a year when you visit dentists in our network.

Who should join DentalPass?

¹nib First Choice providers (i.e., our network) offer competitive fees for many commonly claimed treatments and consultations. These fees are reviewed at least annually and are subject to change. Always check nib.com.au/wellbeing/find-a-provider before booking to see if your provider participates or simply ask your provider if they are part of nib's network at the time of booking. Providers occasionally leave the nib First Choice network so it's important to check before booking to avoid disappointment. Annual limits and T&Cs apply.

²Eligible treatments during a check-up include oral exams (item numbers 011, 012, and 013 only). Payment of benefits is subject to nib's Fund Rules and Policy Booklet, the membership being activated and annual limits.

³Price is based on a Single who wants to start their cover on 09 April 2024. The price includes the Australian Government Rebate for a Single aged < 65 with a taxable income of $93,000 or less in the financial year ending 30 June 2024, 4% direct debit discount.
