You cannot tell your customer what they are covered for or what their benefit may be. Your customer can login to Online Services, opens in a new tab or call us on 13 16 42 to find out more about their cover.

If you are experiencing issues with your HICAPS terminal please refer to the HICAPS terminal user guide, opens in a new tab or contact HICAPS directly. If you're a Natural Therapies provider you may need to activate your record for claiming with us.

If the error message is related to the customer policy the customer will need to contact us.

You are able to reverse a claim through HICAPS/HealthPoint on the same day the initial claim was made, as long as it is completed before 5:00pm. Any claims that need to be reversed after 5:00pm that day will need to be completed manually. If you have processed a claim through HICAPS/HealthPoint with incorrect details and it is past 5:00pm on the initial day the claim was made, please contact us at hicapsadjustment@nib.com.au to manually adjust the claim.

nib members have green nib cards; however we do have agreements with other insurers to provide the health insurance part of their offering. The customers of these services will have different cards. Visit our Providers page, opens in a new tab  to learn more about other brands affiliated with nib.

Applications are open for providers to join the First Choice network. We are continuing to grow our network every day, and are currently seeking applications from dentists, physiotherapists, chiropractors and optical health professionals.

To add a new practitioner to your practice, email providers@honeysucklehealth.com.au with the following details:

• Practitioner's full name

• Medicare provider number

• AHPRA registration number

• Start date.
