nib Agreement Hospitals

nib Agreement hospitals aim to provide the best level of healthcare and to protect customers from large out of pocket costs for their time in hospital. nib’s agreement network currently covers most private hospitals in Australia. This wide network coverage ensures that nib customers across Australia have access to high quality care no matter where they live.

All nib agreement hospitals are fully accredited under national standards, hold appropriate state hospital licences and are fully insured with Public Liability Insurance, Professional Indemnity Insurance and Medical Malpractice Insurance (only where the hospital employs Doctors).

Your nib HPPA does not have an end date. Your agreement remains in place until it is renewed or either party terminates the agreement in accordance with the HPPA. If your HPPA has not been renewed by the review date, you should continue to provide IFC and charge nib members in accordance with your most current agreed rate schedule.

nib underwrites APIA Health Insurance, Qantas Health Insurance, Suncorp, AAMI and United Healthcare Global for Medicare eligible residents in Australia. You can log in to the nib HCP Portal to submit data for members of these funds. If you aren’t already registered, you can create an account.
