Funding
Each year we provide up to $2 million in funding to partnerships that share our purpose of helping people and communities live healthier lives.
We focus our support and investment‎ in line with our three partnership pillars

Promote prevention
We invest in initiatives that equip people with greater health literacy, empower them to develop positive health behaviours and reduce risk factors to improve their quality of life and prevent chronic disease.

Enable equality
We contribute to the reduction of inequities for people & communities with health vulnerabilities and help close the health and life expectancy gap for First Nations peoples.

Empower communities
We strive to strengthen the health and social resilience of our communities by supporting initiatives that contribute to better wellbeing both every day and in times of need.

Enabling equality through our Aboriginal Health Partnerships funding

Enabling equality through our Aboriginal Health Partnerships funding
Working with community controlled organisations, this funding strengthens our commitment to helping close the gap in health and life expectancy outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Empowering communities through our Community Support Programs

Empowering communities through our Community Support Programs
Our Community Partners in Australia and New Zealand help us support a range of charitable causes for the better health of communities, including emergency and disaster relief funding.
Encouraging our people to support their community

Encouraging our people to support their community
We encourage our employees to give back to communities through ongoing employee-led and company initiatives:

nibGive: our employee giving program encourages our employees to get involved in a broad range of community volunteering and giving initiatives, including payroll giving and fundraising.
Good Cause Grants: we empower our people to reflect on health and social issues they care about and champion their colleagues to get behind these causes. Charities nominated and voted by our employees receive small-untied grants.
