We are pleased to be partnering with Family Planning NSW in 2018, with our Community Grant helping to fund a much needed series of workshops across Sydney, the Hunter region and regional NSW to better equip parents with the necessary education and resources required to support positive sexuality and relationships amongst those they care for.

The workshops will cover commonly asked questions and topics including, the importance of providing sexuality support to children and young people with intellectual disability; strategies to provide sexuality education across childhood and adolescence; resources to assist the young person's learning; and information on local services and referral options.

It allows parents and carers of young people to come together, share their experiences and speak to experts in the field.

Final Workshops

  • Tuesday, 24 July 2018 (Ballina)

  • Wednesday, 25 July 2018 (Coffs Harbour)
