We sent the winning club of our Good Sports Junior banner competition, Macorna Football Netball Club club, to the Richmond Tigers v Hawthorn Hawks game over the weekend for a once in a lifetime AFL experience.

The team won the change to lead the Richmond Tigers Football Club through their own designed banner onto field in front of a roaring crowd at the MCG.

The ultimate AFL opportunity comes after the Macorna Football Netball Club took out first place for a second year running in our Good Sports banner competition thanks to our partnership with the Alcohol and Drug foundation and nib's major partner, Richmond Tigers.

Good Sports Juniorclubs across Australia were invited to submit their Tigers run-through banner design for this weekend's match against Hawthorn Hawks Football Club, with the winning design selected by Good Sports and the Richmond Tigers cheer squad.

The match day experience also saw the junior club members form a guard of honour for the Tigers, while two of their team members, Seth Rowe and River Webb, lead the Tigers through their winning banner and onto the field.

Last year, the Macorna Football Netball Club's junior netball team were selected to attend the big day, and this year the junior football team stepped onto the field to share in the experience.

We're thrilled to be able to team up with our partner Alcohol and Drug Foundation, and continue to build positive sporting environments amongst clubs nationwide to foster the health and wellbeing of junior participants and their families.
