• When you book your first telehealth appointment, an account is automatically created using the email address you provide. 

• Use a unique email address belonging to the individual making the booking. 

Account Verification Requirements 

• Get the verification code to complete account setup. 

• The verification code will be sent to: 

• the mobile phone number provided during the booking, or 

• the email address linked to the account 

Only one account can be created per email address. 

• Have your nib membership number and email address ready to book a telehealth appointment. 

• When you book your first appointment, an account is automatically created using the email address you provide. 

• Use your email address for your account when making the booking. 

If you miss a telehealth appointment, you may not receive the treatment or prescription you were seeking. It’s best to: 

• follow up with your medical doctor or nurse practitioner to discuss the missed appointment and any concerns or questions on next steps. 

• arrange a new appointment if required. 

To get a medical certificate from a medical doctor or nurse practitioner, book a telehealth appointment using the instructions above.  

To access medical certificates you have been given, find them in the Patient Portal at portal.hub.health using your account login details.  

An e-Script is an electronic prescription your doctor sends to your phone or email.  

You can store the e-Script on your phone or computer and use it when you want to pick up your medication. 

Your e-Script is also available in the Patient Portal under the “Access eScript” button at portal.hub.health (use your login details). 

You can forward the e-Script to your pharmacy electronically. 

The pharmacy will prepare your medication, and you can pick it up when it is ready. 

To receive an e-Script,  you’ll need an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI).
