Surfest nib Pro Junior update 2018 - winner Callum Robson

Each year, Surfest brings more than 700 national and international surfers to Newcastle beaches to compete in the Southern Hemisphere's largest surfing festival.

And, this year, the competition has never been tougher, with 96 surfers competing in the nib Pro Junior event over the weekend.

Conditions for the event were perfect with 2-3 ft waves and after two full days of competition, Callum Robson from Evans Heads took out the Men's Title, while Alyssa Lock from Snapper Rocks took out the Women's Title.

For all the thrills and spills from the competition, check out our highlights reel.
