Employee Participation

In 2008 nib employees established the nib Make A Difference (MAD) Committee. The MAD Committee was established to provide a business-wide approach for nib employee involvement with charities and fundraising initiatives.

The 2009 MAD Committee hosted fundraising activities with fantastic results - nib employees 'made a difference' by donating over $6500 and more than 150 gifts to charity. The supported charities in 2009 included:

• Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal
• The Shepherd Centre
• Cancer Council
• SIDS and Kids
• National Breast Cancer Foundation
• Hunter Animal Rescue
• AIDS Trust Australia
• Father Riley's Youth Off The Streets
