NSW Aussie Blues - State of Origin
The State of Origin has grown to become a premier sporting event for Rugby League fans since it began in 1980. In 2008, nib announced its sponsorship of the NSW Aussie Blues, with the nib logo appearing prominently on the sleeve of the players’ jerseys.
Following defeat against the Queensland Maroons in both Melbourne and Sydney in 2009, the Blues came back for the ultimate revenge in the third game, beating the Maroons at home in Brisbane, 28 to 16 points.
The 2010 Harvey Norman State of Origin Series games will be played on:
- Game 1 – Wednesday 26 May, Etihad Stadium , Melbourne
- Game 2 – Wednesday 16 June, ANZ Stadium, Sydney
- Game 3 – Wednesday 7 July, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
