The nib health insurance iPhone app makes it easy for you to get the most from your
health cover. nib is the first health fund to offer claiming using your iPhone. You can also view and update your policy details and find your nearest nib Retail Centre, Eye Care Centre, Dental Care Centre or nib agreement hospital.

3 easy steps to making a claim using your iPhone*

You can use your iPhone to make a claim on a wide range of Extras including dental, physio, optical and more (combined daily limit of $300). Just follow these 3 easy steps:

  1. Download the nib health insurance iPhone app

  2. Login using your Online Services login details

  3. Complete and submit the mobile phone claim form

Once you have submitted the mobile phone claim form your benefit amount will be paid directly into your bank account, usually within 2 business days.

We’ll send you a claims summary within 10 days to confirm your claim. Please return this claims summary to us with your original provider receipts – we’ll include a reply paid envelope.

  • View and update your health insurance details

    With the nib iPhone app you can view your health cover policy details and update your contact details.

  • Find your nearest nib Dental or Eye Care Centre

    Time for a dental check-up or new glasses? Use the nib iPhone app to find your nearest nib Dental or Eye Care Centre where you will receive exclusive offers as an nib customer. You can also search for nib Retail Centres and nib agreement hospitals in your area.

Introducing nib Mobile claiming

nib is the first health fund to offer claiming optimised for your mobile, you can also view and update your policy details. This service is available for most smartphones such as Apple, HTC, Nokia, Samsung, etc (phones based on the Apple, Google Android and Windows Mobile operating systems). Simply point your phones web browser at m.nib.com.au to access this service.

    With the mobile enabled website you can view your health cover policy details on your phone and update your contact details instantly.

  • Note for Blackberry uses

    As we are using the latest technology, some of the advanced functionality will not work with the current Blackberry web browser. Research in Motion have announced that their browser will be updated in the coming months and once updated, you will be able to benefit from the rich experience that nib mobile claiming offers.
